Global warming will cut into world grain yields and result in less food being on hand in the increasing world in 2050.
International Food Policy Research Institute report said, Climate change increases child malnutrition and reduces calorie utilization significantly and higher temperatures reduce crop yields while encouraging pests and plant diseases in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa will be impair the hardest by declines in yields and production.
It suggested an increase of $7 billion a year in publicly owned spend on agricultural study, improvement in irrigation and farm-to-market roads to make up for the impact of climate change.
